ASTROPHILE ran well in defeat with blinkers fitted but her best form was achieved without headgear so she should play a leading role, especially with her rider's 1.5kg allowance. Stablemate NICCI BEACH made a pleasing introduction and should improve to make his presence felt with that experience to count on. Newcomer FIRST FROST is bred to be useful and could be competitive on debut under an accomplished work rider. Recently gelded HATTORI HANZO and COUNT OF CAPRI appeal most of the remainder.
