Monté patiemment en début de course, il s'annonça dans le tournant final, venant sur la ligne de tête, puis encore aux prises pour la victoire pour aller sauter la dernière difficulté, il poursuivit plaisamment son effort jusqu'au bout, conservant une nette troisième place, près des deux premiers.
